Went to a Summers Bought 1 Gallon of Whiskey 2/6 2 Dozen of Herrings 1/3 1/4 of Tea 1/- lb Tea 1/4 1/2 Soda 1/2 lb 4 1/2 Soap 1/ 1 1/2 Soap 1/1 1/2 Shot -/6 Combs -/8 Pink & Sema -/6 not very well Luke & Emmanuel here with a Letter from Mr Norman concerning the giving over the movable Property to Mr Frothugh Caught 1 EEl Ice thick in the channel I owed off cut an stick for spear poles Me very sick through the night

Drawing in the Bush the soft Maple & Oak swallows came Robins came snowbirds Plenty BlackBirds & cranes all the Feathered inhabitants now came the Dove came again (Seen these Gannets going Down on the 10th) Hens not Laying Fine Day Livinia made a Taste of Sugar Sandy chopping the Oaks on the Bank Feed Plenty for Man and Beast

12th ice opened Before the Door Raining some cattle out Picking some ice not opening Fast

13th Began Cording the Wood on the Bank Drawing some

14th Livinia sick Fired 2 shots at a Rat did not get it The churn impossible to make Butter Firing commenced ice opening very slow Drew the Canoe Behind the Barn Loons Roaring

15th Drawing set a Trap shot a squirrel with Thomas Davis Fitsstephen Gun cording some Drawing Went out with the small canoe for the first time this year ice Jamming some
