8th Sunday Raining & Blowing went Round the Island with canoe

9th went Down to Charles Gordon and I Lot os Indians came down to Day to Fish Lashey to Dundee for Flour 25 1/2 lbs

10th hoeing the Corn Potatoes Tomatoes Beans Pumpkins Before the Door Lashey set his line at the head of the Island The Gun Boat Royal Began shooting at our Island I answered them came down to the Foot of the Island then turned up again Fishing got 6 got an eel on my line Drew 2 Barrels of Water and a Load of Wood from the River Mosquitoes Bad Deer Flies Bad 11th George Betsy and Maryann Bone came to hoe for the first hoeing of the coarn and potatoes above the house

12th Orangemans Day The Passport & Grecian went up with either Soldiers or emigrants Loaded

13th Planted some Tobacco plants

14th Gordon and I Fishing over at Christees a pleasure trip on the Salaberry for Raising Money for the St Regis {torn off}orch Lashey and me to Fish at night

15th St Swithens Day its a Raining this Morning when it Rains to Day it Rains for 40 Days

16th Got Pike and an eel on the line Mowed a Road to the 2 Gardens Made a coil of Hay

17th George and Betsy came with the scow hoeing I went Charlies Gordon with me Charlie came up took up home Tansy old Mare and Pennys a Flower Christee here and Moccasinmouth Got Potatoes put out some Tobacco Plants George Brought me a Tin Basin full Mrs Norman McDonald sent me some newspapers

18 Very wet put out some Tobacco cabbage Tansy old Man Grinding syths me and Lashey working at his Line

19th Took 10 and 1 peck -/10 Bush got 5 lbs of Iron 4 Bottles 11/9 to 46 cents take out {illegible} the {illegible} account
