[continued from last page] are in bed with la gripp. I finished my hat this p.m. I started my collar + cuffs this p.m.

May 5. - Wed. - I took mrs. Beattie some butter-milk this a.m. Mama went down to Mrs. Beattie's this Eve.

May 6 - Thur. - Papa + I went to market this a.m. I went up to Mrs. Bishop's for a-getting of eggs this pm.m We set two hens to-day.

May 7. Fri. - It has rained all day. Annie, Mary + Howard came up this p.m. + stayed for tea.

May 8. - Sat. - Papa went to market this a.m. + for feed this p.m. We sold our rags to-day. Had a bon-fire to-night.

May 9. - Sun. - Mama went up to Mr. Lockwood's this p.m. Elsie Hyne + children came out this p.m. Mary Warner came up also. I played the organ at church to-night as Mary has a pain in her side. There was a thunder storm during church this Eve.

May 10. - Mon - We washed this a.m. Willard came up this p.m. It has rained all day.

May 11 - Tues. - It rained this a.m. but cleared up near noon. Mama went up to Mr. Walkers this p.m. + put [unintelligible] oour clothes out when she came home. Jean was here to-night for a music book of mine. I was over to Mr. Knapp's before dark. Mrs. H. Daniels, Prescott, died 2. p.m. Jean was here this Eve for one of my music books.
