Oct. 23. - Sat. - We are were cooking to-day. Mrs. R. Bishop + I decorated the church this p.m. for the Thanksgiving service to-morrow Eve. Papa went to town 2. p.m. + brought Aunt Jane + Uncle Hugh out.

Oct. 24. - Sun. - We went to church this Eve.

Oct. 25. - Mon. - Elsie, Hyne, + children, Annie, + Howard were here all day. It is a lovely day. There was a Scouting party composed of [2s] on a side, Brockville Soldiers, to-day. Annie, Elsie Aunt Jane + I went to Mrs. J. Dalton this p.m. + Mrs. Dalton + Miss Latham, a nurse at the asylum, went over to the cemetary with us. Papa took Auntie + Uncle Hugh home 4 p.m. They were digging potatoes at Johnie Beattie's to-day.
