Oct. 26. - Tues. - It is a damp misty day. We washed. Mrs. R. Bishop + I went to Mr. Walker's woods to gather beech-nuts this p.m. It is a lovely night. Mrs. " Mrs. P.W. Barton were here this Eve.

Oct. 27. - Wed. - Papa went to Algonquin this a.m. to get some apples. Henry helped John Dalton dig potatoes to-day. I packed my valise to-night to go down to Miss Daniel's to-morrow p.m. Theo. Shipman was here this Eve.

Oct. 28. - Thur.- Went in town with Jessie Bissell this morning. to Aunt Jane's. Went to Prescott 2.30 to visit Miss Daniels. We went to the J.W.A. meeting to-night.

Oct. 29. - Fri. - We went down street this p.m. Went to the library this Eve.

Oct. 20. - Sat. - Went to an auction sale this p.m. + up street. Stayed in to-night.
