[continued from last page] this p.m. We went to church this Eve. Annie, Willard + Mary came in after church.
Dec. 6. - Mon. - We washed. Rev. A.B. Johnston was here for dinner. I took a lesson this p.m. Went up to Mrs. Wright's this p.m. Mrs. Wright (Sr.) is quite sick. Franklin Boyd. is no better. There was an Association Meeting in the Masonic Hall this Eve. Little Franklin Boyd died 10. p.m.
Dec. 7. - Tues. - We churned. Papa drove me down to Annie's this a.m. It rained hard this p.m. + I stayed all night.
Dec. 8. - Wed. - There is a 'Shoorting Contest', to-day. Willard was here for dinner. Mama. Mrs. J. Walker + Mrs. Bishop (Dr.) are at Mr. H. Lockwood's to-day for dinner. Henry + I picked out butter-nuts this Eve. I came home from Annie's this a.m.
Dec. 9. - Thur. - I ironed + made Banberries this p.m. Laura was over this p.m. Franklin Boys was buried this p.m.
