[continued from last page] down to J. Dalton's this Eve. Mrs. Dalton helped me to passapartout a picture. 50 Years ago to-night Mr. + Mrs. Geo. Dalton were married.

Jan. 5. - Wed. - It is cold + stormy to-day. Pa went down to Beattie's this p.m.

Jan. 6. - Thur. - Henry helped Mr. P. Barton saw to-day. Laura was over this p.m. It is much warmer to-day. Mrs. Beattie (Sr.), Johnie, + Day were here for tea + this Eve.

Jan. 7. - Fri. - Mr. Lockwood came down this p.m. I went up to Mary Eason's this p.m. with a dress, that Mary is going to make for me. Received 2 music books to-night from Eaton's, Toronto which I sent for Wed. morning.

Jan. 8. - Sat. - Papa went to town
