Jan. 23. - Sun. - Annie, Willard, Little Howard + Mary came up this a.m. + we went to church this p.m. Annie stayed here with Howard. Rev. A. B. Johnston gave out cards, this p.m., to each one to mark down every Sunday they go to church Willard + Annie stayed for tea + also this Eve.

Jan. 24. - Mon. - Henry was sawing wood at Mr. S. Woods to-day. This is Mason's Meeting Night. Mama + I are alone. Laura was over this p.m.

Jan. 25. - Tues. - We went over to Wesley Wood's this Eve to a parlor social. Saw the comet to-night.

Jan. 26. - Wed. - Papa was talking to Mr. Gorgon Manhard this Eve.
