Sept. 3. John Dalton's cow died to-night.

Sept. 4. - Sun. - It is a nice day. Henry + I went to Mr. Steward Read's funeral 2 p.m. No service at Bethis this p.m. on account of the funeral.

Sept. 5. - Mon. - We washed. Henry + I went for the corn morning. it rained all day.

Sept. 6. - Tues. - Mary W. went down to Luella D's to stay a week. It has been rainy to-day- I went up to Mis. D. Wright's this p.m. Mrs Wright went to town this a.m. + had her teeth extracted. Was up to Mr. J. Walker's this Eve. Henry went up to Grandma's to-night to hunt coons.

Sept. 7. - Wed. - Mama, Laura + I went to Walker's woods for muck this p.m. Papa phoned out from town 3.30 p.m. He arrived in Brockville 5 p.m. Henry went for him after milking
