Oct. 8. - Sat. - The men were helping cut corn at Mrs. {O'Shane's} to-day. Have a bad cold.

Oct. 9. - Sun. - Elsie, Hyne + children came out this p.m. Church this Eve, but first Henry went.

Oct. 10. - Mon. - Finished at Mr. Shaver's 4. p.m. I was down to Annie's all day. Made Mrs. Beattie's crown.

Oct. 11. - Tues. - Mr. C. J. Johns was here for dinner as he was collecting for the phones. Henry helped thresh at Mr. Wm. Kyle's to-day. Went to an apple-bee at Mrs. P. Barton's to-night. Has been a lovely day.
