April 8. - Sat. - Papa & I went to town 11 a.m. Auntie & I were down street this p.m. God a new spring coat. This has been a very nice day but is cold to-night. Mama was over to Laura's to-night. {sideways - "Sent to Eaton this Mom for seeds"}

April 9. - Sun. - Was at Electa's for tea & came to Bethel church to-night. Mr. Johnston told us this Eve of his intended removal in June.

April 10. - Mon. - These are fine days & good "sugar weather." Mr. Gilpin was here for dinner. Laura was over this p.m. This is Mason's night.

April 11. - Tues. - Henry is helping saw at the factory to-day. Laura was over this p.m. also. Mr. Walker was down. Has been a fine day.
