June 9. - Fri. finished papering this noon. Ironed this p.m. Went over to the cemetery this Eve & got a lovely bouquet of white roses. This is a grand night.
June 10. - Sat. - Papa went to town this a.m. Rev. A. B. Johnston was here for dinner farewell party at the M. Parsonage Algonquin, all the circuit but no one went from Bethel. it is a nasty rainy p.m. & damp night. Laura & Theo are here to-night. {sideways "On years to-night Hyne was taken to the hospital with appendicitis}
"June 11." - Sun. - SS & church this p.m. Rev (Mr). Johnston's farewell sernona. he leaves for Dark. Annie & Willard & Howard were here for tea. Elsie's baby girl was born this morn.
