Sept. 13. - Wed. - Mama preserved crab-apples to-day. Annie & Howard were in a few minutes this p.m. Ironed. Grand weather. Cold nights.

Sept. 14. - Thur. - Pickling to-day. Henry helped Johnie Beattie cutting corn to-day. Rec. a card from L.D. from Ottawa.

Sept. 15. - Fri. - Rainy. Mr. Victor Well's sale was this p.m. Made Chili Sauce. {sideways "Mr. Char Fox died to-night. Had the aperation for appentecitis Tues. night}

Sept. 16. - Sat. - Papa went to market. Henry & Theo went to town this p.m. Political meeting in the school-house. Row's Carmen to-night. Papa, Henry, & Theodore drove up.
