April 17. - Wed. - fine day.Mr. Ed keeles front road was found dead in the barn, Mon. morn funeral 1.30 p.m. to-day. Raising Mr. O. {illegible} barn this p.m. papa went over this morn & Henry this p.m. Mrs. h. {illegbile} was here this p.m. I had sugar up to Walter's this p.m.

April 18. - thur. - Rainy. Mr. H. Lockwood was here this p.m. Henry & I, Annie, Willard & Howard. Jns. mrs Dalton, Johny & Mrs. Beattie & Jimmie Mr & mrs. A. P. Bissell, Ettas & Howard & {illegible} kelly were over to Mr. Wm. Kyle's this Eve. for sugar.

April 19. - Fri. - Misty. Mr. {illegible} drove out here 10. a.m. to have his horse clipped then drove to B. for Dorthey this p.m.
