grand day. Snowed some last night. My cold is bad {yet?}. Cleaned drawers this Eve.

April 24. - Wed. - {illegible}. Thomas Johnston was here this a.m. on the way to Brockville. Papa took 3 pigs to B. this a.m. & bought {illegible} out. Uncle Hugh staited to {illegible} down the paitition between the kitehem & pantry this p.m. & papa went to B. for lumber. Mama had a {illegible} to-night 12.30 o'clock & Annie came up.

April 25. - thur.Henry & Annie drove down for Howard this a.m. Uncle Hugh is busy, mama is able to be up. Choir practise this Eve. Annie & Howard will stay all night. Uncle Hugh & Henry are down to Elsie's this Eve.
