May. 1 - Wed. - put away {illegible} Henry started to work on Bishop's land this a.m. Mrs. R. Bishop & I walked over to Mr. D. Shaver's this p.m. It is a beautiful day & we had a grand walk. Mama Annie, Willard & Howard. Mrs. A. P. Bissell & Mrs. {illgeible} Cumming {illegible} at Ms. Lockwood's for tea. I went up this Eve. papa painted the kitchen floor this Eve. Charlie is 8 to-day
May. 2. - Thur. - Annie, Willard & I drove to B. this p.m. & remained for the show this Eve. "{illegible} Me" Mr & Mrs. R. Bishop came
