woods this a.m.Elsie, {illegible} & children came up this p.m. Mama, papa, Henry & I went to sevice 7.30 Eve.

May 6. - Mon. - Churned and cleaned stove-pipes & started to clean the spare bedroom. The men clipped our 3 horses to-day, papa went up to Cowan's for pigs & mama went up to Grandma's too.

May 7. - Tues. - Washed. papa went to funeral of Mr. Wm. {illegible}. Matland, which was conducted by "{illegible}." I raked this Eve. & practised.

May 8. - Wed. - Ironed. practised. Mrs. Jns Beattie & Jns were here this Eve.
