June. 7. - Fri. - took a lesson this p.m. Stretched our curtains & made flower beds. Went up to Bishop's & Bissell's this Eve. Theo came out this Eve & is here. Was up to Bishop's & Bissell's this Eve.

June 8. - Sat. - Busy all day. Mr. {illegible} Price helped papa & Henry plant corn this p.m. they finished the piece. geo. {illegible} house was burned 4 p.m. papa & Uncle Hugh went to town this Eve. also Annie & Willard. Howard stayed here. Laura was over & we set out plants. Hyne & children came up for there 9 chicken this Eve. We have 21.
