Tuesday June 10th 1879 the weary days pss on,and no sign of material improvement. instead of processing I am now retrograding and becoming more nervous and weak. weather far from being summer.nights cool. crops grow but slowly,and now I fear there willbe a great shortage in wheat,which seems very backward.
