November, 1926
17 Wednesday. FIne cold day. They filled in the ditch behind the barn today.
18 Thursday. Rained all day. Walter shipped hog this morning this morning. Charlie brought Ella & Pearl home tonight and stayed here for the night.
19 Friday. Cold & Windy. Walter & Charlie settled by. Today Vernon took the big Walter polo down to David Baunman's today. Walter went to Elmira and came home with Vernon.
20 Saturday. Cold. Snow and flurries. Vernon & Walter brought in 3 loads of wood into a.m. and Vernon brought in the rest this afternoon. Walter and Ella attended the funeral of his aunt Mrs. Agne Rugget at Elmira this afternoon.
