A so-called migraine persisting after the age of 45 or 50 is to be looked on with very grave suspicion indeed. In such cases you will examine the urine and the arteries very carefully; or some indications of a latent cerebral tumor may be hit on. Mistrust "migraines," then, however "paroxysmal" the attack may be, hoever typical the affection may appear if they gon on after 45 years of age. I am almost disposed to say curtly, that if in a migrainous person the migraine persists in later life, ther is probaby a screw loose somewhere in his constitution.-T. Clifford Allbutt; Clin. Journ.
