August Friday 26 1927
Spent most of the morning digging potatoes in the garden and after dinner I picked them up with Jean's assistance and put them away in the cellar. Helped Dan get in a jag of hay and then coiled a second , cut alfalfa till 7:45. Websters were up again but the motor wouldn't work on the separator.
Saturday 27
Put in practically all morning in the sheep industry when I caught and held the sheep while Mr. Barker trimmed them, pared their feet, and have them pills for worming. Took in three jags of hay and some peas and pitched them all off in afternoon. Apple buyer from Kitchener came so Mrs. Barker didn't go to town so Jean & I did up the family business.
