Sat Mar 23. Fine and very warm rather sultry, mr D and I out in the afternoon. I called to see F. Bowes in the evening. Annie went to Toronto to Lizzies. Lorraine with {me?}.
Sun Mar 24. Fine bright a perfect day. I went to morning church for a walk in afternoon and to evening church.Ms Rowswell and Mary in after church. Lorraine here.
Mon Mar 25. Fine bright day, I cleaned north bed room and prepared east room for tinting, had mrs Davidsons electric cleaner for carpets, cleaned all windows upstairs. Annie here at night.
Tue Mar 26. Fine day, mr. Youngman tinted East room $4.00. I finished it.
Wed Mar 27. Fine and quite warm, I finished sitting room and hall upstairs varnished East floor in parts, broke my watch so took it down for repairs. shower in the night.
Thur Mar 28. Fine and much colder, mr Hayes here and took cieling down in kitchen and put up {Gyproe?}, $7 for him and $1 for mr youngman helping, a terrible mess, late getting cleaned started at {"9"right above "at"} 10 and finished at 5.P.M. the children came out
Fri Mar 29. Good Friday. I went to service and burnt grace in afternoon a beautiful day fine and warm. took {bootees?} to miss Wilsons.
Sat Mar 30. Raining gently most of morning, warm I went to Toronto for wall paper, $5 and home at noon. out in afternoon.
Sun Mar 31. Fine with cool east wind. I went to church wore fur coat. started to sleet about five and rained heavily most of night. Annie and children for tea. Wylie and Lizzie called in new {cue?}. I did not go to eve church.
