Thurs Apr 18. Dull and cool. Annie came here at night. Mr Button died. I called to see Mrs Bowes.

Fri Apr 19. Fine bright and warmer. I cleaned cellar kitchen so all house cleaning doune. just store room outside. no varnishing done. broke and cleaned berry canes. Mrs. Davidson and I at afternoon tea at Mrs Bakers. I went to see W. {Luesby?} he came and put leathers on pump 30 cents.

Sat Apr 20. Dull and light showers. Mrs Davidson and I called at Mrs Fares. my {calluses?} very painful.

Sun Apr 21. Fine bright day perfect. I went to morning church. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk, at evening church.

Mon Apr 22. Fine bright day, washed, cleaned upstairs in shed, and partly part lower.

Tue Apr 23. Fine brith and warmer. Cleaned and finished shed and did a little raking. Furnaces out on 22nd cleaned out.

Wed Apr 24. Fine bright perfect day. I put last of ashes & cinders on. Mr Youngman took plaster away, put in Lettuce and Onions. Cleaned hen house, pretty well done outside, a little fire in heater in afternoons, first since March 10th in heater.

Thurs Apr 25. Rained heavily from East all day, cleared at 4 pm. I went to Toronto took oxfords to Eatons. I got in full. got new pair a letter from George Green saying his father very low.

Fri Apr 26. Fine and bright quite a high wind. I planted two Rose bushes. 3 for 50 cents, dug around trees. Annie here.

Sat Apr 27. Fair but dull and milder, sowed grass seed. took a cheque for Parish Hall fund to Mrs Collins last eve, $25.00.
