Thur May 30. Fine and extremely warm, over 90 degrees some say 94. I came home in the afternoon, Minnie and Jim {Appelle} called at the door on way to Toronto, a {sand} hat at Eatons $3.00.

Fri May 31. Fine and very warm then cooler at night. I had a lot of grass cutting took mower to be sharpened got four Geraniums for 70 cents at Mr {Younginans} and other plants at Mr Willshires.

Sat June 1 Fine and quite cool, painted South Veraudah. a {illegible} of paint $1.50 (69) {illegible} north and South {veraudah} Mrs D. and I for a walk in eve.

Sun June 2 Fine but very cold wind, fire first for a week at morning church. the Boyle girls and cousin at Annies for tea I was there.

Mon June 3. Fine and very cool but no frost. Mr Harrison cleaned Furnace pipes and stove pipes, left cellar ones off. put up stairs in barn. 40 cents gave fifty. N. Smellie sprayed maples for {lice}{illegible} out to {Marjoros} for a while in the afternoon.

Tue June 4. I went for my dress at Miss Chapmans material $21.21 called at Dr Mc Leans. X.Ray of wisdom tooth shows trouble 1/2 pint at 45 cents at Eatons for East Veraudah

Wed June 5. Raining in the morning gently cleared at noon. I painted East Veraudah. Reeve and W. Johnson called in afternoon. I called to ask for Mrs Johnson and at Mrs R. Simpsons at Horticultural show in eve. {illegible}
