skating. Had good talk. E.W. asked me questions on letters. I mending horse shoe blankets, & writing in this. Girls all sewing & mending. Ma helping. I called in at Melissa & got Jenny's P. doll to dress. Carnival in Oakville to night

Thur 8th.. Jan/85. Churning I went to I cleaned floor Mrs Bray came & Mrs Ing also. I went to Bronte with Mrs Ing. I saw Lottie B. & then A & I went down skating just Villa & E.W. Hattia B. & Al. there. Wasn't down long. When I was going down to P.O. met Aggie & Delia Curtis coming to our place. They here for tea. Had nice time. Max came for them at 8.

Frid 9th..Jan /85. I mending & fixing shoes {galoshes?}. I went up stairs. Got dressed & working at hat band. Amandia Hixson came to sew on our machine. I cleaning out side board. S & A went down skating about 5. Amandia here for tea. I had toothache & laid on sofa {all the time?.}

Sat 10th.. Jan /85. I worked hat band in parlor B.4 dinner P.M. got dressed & was ready to go skating when Edith & George Ing. came to go skating so A & I went quite a lot there. Max Emma Lottie & Ada Bray, E.W., Bob Joyce & a lot of fisherman had nice time. I killed chicken & pick it when Willie & Annie {Carry?} came. I couldn't write in diary for Willie making so much noise.
