beside. They here for tea. Had a good sing then Austin went to M.P. {Mount Pleasant} church. Joe & I went over to {?} for a walk. Sarah & Alf came & Girls all over to Brodericks & I went too, Joe & I sitting in hammock together. Archie S & M.L. drove up to Trillers for tea. Alf & I went but Joe stayed & took a ride up with Archie. When came in from the Hammock passed around apples.

Mon 4th.. June 1888.

Tues 5th.. M.L. & M.W. drove up to Alfs Ida & I very busy Blandina came down & Annie Toronto came & Emma Didn't get much done & we had to talk to Annie C. Ida went to Hamilton on boat & M.W. stayed up to Alfs but Alf drove M.L. home & went fishing & stayed here all night.

Wed 6th.. Alf up early & had me up at 5 to get breakfast & so long B4. any others got up for there breakfast. Alf went home about 8 & Annie C with him. We all went down to teachers meeting to see about pic-nic. It very windy day almost a blizzard. Dave came over to church Just as we were coming home & he walked up road with Annie & I. He very cool.

Thur 7th.. Our time taken up getting meals etc.

Frid 8th.. I cleaned cellar way P.M. Annie & I drove to Oakville & brot our Annie with us home. Alf "The." & Mill & Mer. Alton down fishing.

Sat 9th.. Blandina came down B4. dinner & Ida on her. Annie C went home on 7 train & Ida & I took her to train gave Jane B. a ride home saw quite a number at station.

Sun 10th.. June. Went to S.S. Came home after church Mr. Hollinrake preached. Came home & had a new preacher & his driver here for tea. Had a nice rain. I wrote letter to Frank.

Mon 11th.. Baking for pic-nic. I washed print dresses etc. Then bread in P.M. Went for Annie Called in at Bray for butter. Nice cool day for pic-nic. Baking cakes in A.M. S Alf & Gertie down to pic-nic.

Tues 12 June Not many strangers there Blandina came in. I helped with tea table Gertie Alton Geo W. & I went for a row then came back & got Annie, S & Ada B. went for another row. When got back all folks gone home. Ada came in. All tired. Wed 13th.. Didn't do much for so tired

Thur. 14th.. Washing. It my 19th..birthday. A & I went to Bronte went to Mrs McCay. A gave me {? hairpin?}

Frid 15th.. Merton S.S. pic-nic went to Bronte house it very hot Ida & I drove to Oakville & took Annie got our new hats etc. Was eating our supper when Joe B. stept up to window he had been to pic-nic & came down on train. So he & I went out to have a game of croquey then Will Giles came. So then Mill & I & Annie & Joe played sides. Joe & Annie came in house & A played & we talked until 10. Joe & I went to get a drink he asked me to go up with Annie {Sartere?}
