Mon 3rd.. June / 89. Washing out in garden all P.M.
Tues 4th.. P.M. cut out wrapper M.W. & M L out driving looking for pickers I ready to go to B. S.S. when it looked liked rain then Dave called, so I went to have a sing when came out of room D. had gone. I tho't he couldn't go to pic-nic he said on Frid. Suppose he didn't like it of me to go & sing.
Wed 5th.. June Sewing. Bertha D. up to get Ida cut her dress
Thur 6th.. June M.L. & Pa drove to Oakville Nice day. Ida sewing at our print dresses. Bertha came up again. Alf & Sarah came Alf went to Bronte to hear about law suit between Easton & H. Breckon about dog killing sheep. When he came back bro't Joe B. & Frank with him. Man. Belyea's wife hear a little while. F. J. B. & I playing croquey till T. Joe & I against Bertha & F. Then finished game after tea & I milked & Arthur B. came along on sulky the other folks playing croquey so I talking to Arthur about pic-nic to Lorne Park M.P. & Palermo S.S. going so invited B S.S. I asked F. to drive Ida & I. Ida, Bertha, & I got on Or. sulky & "Blind Charlies" & drove down lane & took B. home such fun riding on it. Ida & Arthur went for drive after we got back & Joe & I talking in hammock. Then went in & played cards till 10.30 F. stayed all night to help drive up to pic-nic.
Frid 7th.. Nice in A.M, but raining after. I asked Pa for horse but he going to use it to go to Palermo so tho't we would wait till he came back so F. & I out in garden planting seed when AB Broderick came out & asked me to go with him & Ida to pic-nic
