no minister came so came up road with Charlotte B & Dave & Arthur B. Arthur came in & Dave went on with C.B. A & I in singing when Dave came Ida asley she got up & us all singing then D. & Ida got tea & we had our eaten when folks came home from boat so Arthur nursed baby while D & Ida cleaned table & I attended to milk. Us all singing then talking on sofa. Arthur went at 10 but Dave wasn't ready to go so we talked till it rained. They he waited till after rain slacked. It 1.30 when he went. Had a big talk etc.
Mon 17th.. June Emma hear & baby I cleaning parlor Alf came for Ida. Mandia & Jennie called in P.M. & I in parlor untidy. Dave came as I was milking in barn said I looked tired he sorry. I went down to call for Mabel at boat to go to temperance meeting but her Pa wouldn't let her go so I went it in our church Had some speakers from a distance It awful hot so didn't stay till out. Emma & Ada Bray came up road with me.
Tues 18th.. I washing curtains then cleaned out cellar Dave called to go to B. class. M.L. & I went not many out only 7 Dave went home with his father from gate.
Wed 19th.. Raining but washing I picked a few berries for tea then finished fixing parlor. Writing
Thur 20th.. Emma Blondie & baby and all hands out picking goose berries. Got 4 baskets full. I dressed in eve & walked over to see Annie Belyea & talked till 10. She came as far as gate stood talking when Dave came down lane & then came back with me & we talked till 11. Came in & hunting cake but couldn't find it so got Emma boat came in & Emma & folks went down to it.
