January, THURSDAY, 2
Choring and chopping in afternoon. Harry Booth called. Brock to town at night. Neary fall of snow in P.M. Fine night.
FRIDAY, 3
Da choring and sifted ashes. Brock took 8 pigs to Morrefeild in morning. Helped up churn in P.M. Lizzie here in afternoon. Mother sick with cold. Fine and bright but cold.
SATURDAY, 4
Da done chores. Brock took 9 lambs to Moorefield in morning. Very stormy morning and cold. Brock and I to town at night.
SUNDAY, 5
Brock to church at night. Fine and cold.
