October MONDAY, 13
Thanksgiving Day. Took up the potatoes. Very large and a good crop. I took Uncle Jim, Nellie + Lillian to five train. Brock to town at night Beautiful brigt day.
TUESDAY, 14
Taking up mangels. Got 8 loads in. Fine but smoky and looking like rain to-wards Evening. Mr. Masser brought a bag of tomlin sweets.
WEDNESDAY,15
Finished taking up mangels and brought in two loads of corn. Misty in morning but a beautiful bright warm day.
