232 DAYS PAST Sunday 17 134 TO COME
Nose and Throat Aphorisms.
After removing polypi do not dauterize stumps. Inflammation may set in and cause septic meningitis. Before operating on the turbinate bones give for three days ten grains of sodium bromide twice a day. This will reduce hemorrhage. Pus between middle turbinate and outer wall of nose may be due to frontal sinusitis. In acute disease of the frontal sinus there is a marked increase of pain on blowing the nose. Pus between middle turbinate and septum is probably due to inflammation of sphenoidal sinus.-Med. Council. Weather Temp.
