3. a little rain Mosquitoes bad paid John A McGregor $.6.00 for 12 bush potaotes gave potatoes to McRae

6. D.McMaster had a Meeting last night in the Pt.A.H. very largely attended, a number of Ladies

7 Chief Justice McDonald of N.Scotia was there, and spoke a Mr. Boid from Prescot County was there for Rayside very good speaking a young man from Montreal a Mr. McGibbin spoke very well.

5 The voting is going on and the contest is close. I have washed blankets today and it has stormed and rained M Master was the elected with 32 Majority To soda 10. pepper 5. 15 Mrs Vally paid $.1.00 towards rent.

6. John came last night and he went to see Dougald today and is going home at 2 oclock. Mr McClauson and Lolle McLennan called in the evening
