| 8 | Raining today drew manure in fore noon. Got 4 loaves at Dunlop's 25. 1/2 lb tea at Willie's 25 Far came at 6. P.M. Auntie was here in afternoon | 50 |

| 20 | I had no time to write since the 9th I was weeding the onions, this morning and saw the Martintown board band pass Cousin Mary Dan's wife and Sophia Camer. passed in a buggy and in about 3/4 of an hour, they were brought back badly hurt. All badly bruised Mary's lower lip was cut through and the Dr put four stitches in it Dan's wife had her forehead cut and had nine stitches put in Wesley was the Dr. who attended them. | |
