25 Very fine day sent the things to the fair there is a very fine display of things Did not give many dinners today, expect to be busy tomorrow Murdy got a card to meet the McDonell girls this evening at the depot
26 Rain this morning. I was afraid that there would be a poor fair, but it cleared up about 11. A.M. And we went up to the grounds. Kate & Annie McDonell along
27. The Fair & Dinner is over both were good And the village is quite again. We got 3rd prize for our horses. And 2nd for 2 year filly. There was a shower of rain this morning, it cleared up. And had a sunshiny day. Jimie went to Lancaster and got the saddle that Far bought for the girls Got 4 lb codfish 25 We spent $200 at the fair 25 2--
28 Kate & Annie were at Duncan Saddlers all last night and today until evening
29 Fair today in afternoon Annie & Kate went to Aunt Kates Jimie drove Far to Lancaster
30 Monday. Was nice and bright today. The Committee of the Catholic pic nic had a ball at Sullivans
