| 27 | Dul lowery day. Jimie & Murdy brough home 1 load of hay from village farm And are after wood to Uncle Murdy's McKillop place. they got 1 load of straw & 1 of wood yesterday | |

| 29 | Dull day. There is an account in today papers of an Explosion in a Coal Mine in Pennsylvanie. where more than 110 men lost their lives | |

| 31 | Far went to Gore yesterday intending to go to Montreal today. The Annual Meeting came off last night I was not there not very many to sign the Petition
The papers had accounts of two noted men Charles Bradeaugh {Bradlaugh} M.P. for Northampton E. died 6 this morning * he was a kind of Unbeliever And Secretary Windom U.S. died at a banquet in New York last night. "such is death. Aunt got medecine 50 cts syrup 25 1 pan bread 25 I got 1/2 lb tea 25, sold 16 eggs. It is now 11. P.M. And snowing & thawing. Some of our folk were at the skating rink Aunt is getting along sloly she sat up for a while today John A got a telegram that Byron McDonell died in Toronto, And will be buried here Monday |
