1 Lilly B. McDonell, was married to Andrew Shaw, a grocer of Cornwall. Pa and I were at the wedding. I gave a present of a bible cost 2.40.
2 Womans Meeting at J. Dingwall's R.R. I did not go but Birdie went my offering 100
3 This is our fast day. Mr McKay Summerstown preached. it rained all day.
4 Rain, "rain, not very many out
5 Still wet. The collection today is for French Evangelization. I gave 100 Pa gave 50. Bird 100 I gave 25 at night
6 A Exhibition of pictures in the Temple gave Marion 15.
7 The Sabbath S. Pic. Nic. bought 2 lb lemon bisquet. 30. Bird & Marion went. Our boys working on the road. Sent Moulie and McRae to Farquhersons Allen Grant Dutch baked
8 Jimie went to a pic nic at Lancaster
9 I went to doe some washing at Aunts
10 John Purcell was buried today at his brother Mike's house. Pa & Jimie went gave Murdy & Ran each 50. Gave Cousin Jimie 50 to get me 6 memorial cards
11 Done a lot of work and feel very tired
12 Pa birthday 71 years old. A large Congregation A Mr Scot a student of Queens preached, he is going around visiting the home children
13 Fine day Pa and Murdy pulling daisys at Affrica Cousin Jimie went to Cornwall and then to Montreal Our Jimie was travelling. Ran took moulie to Farquherson
14 Pa left this morning for the Springs drove Jetty. Alick Dunlop with him, Ran
