Saturday 27 29 W. Fine day till 4 P.M. when it came on to snow thick
Sunday 28 21 SW Fine day, cold & Frosty, this Forenoon Mrs Crooks & her sons Tom and James at Mr. Hamilton and Mifs Cicker of Flamboro W. called. Prayer read here to day
Monday 29 23 SE A Stormy day and Cold. Engaged taking in Straw to y° C Barn. Lamphiers dinner party took place this evening at 6 P.M. ~~

Thursday 3 7 SW a very cold day. went to Elora
Friday 4 6 SSW h Cold and blustering day, went down to Galt in the afternoon to a Ball given by Mr Shade & some other Gentlemen in Galt
Saturday 5 3 W Fine day but cold & frosty, last night a thaw came on and continued till after midnight
Sunday 6 0 very Severe Frost to day
Monday 7 0 S,W, Extremely cold to day. Came up wt. Adam Ferrie in his cutter from Preston, calling at Berlin Sneiden Mills & Glasgow
Tuesday 8 26 ~ Clear & warm Frosty day. Snow disappearing
Wednesday 9 32 S.W. Mild and Fresh day. No Sunshine but flaky fresh cloudy all day. The Pig (Mother Woolner littered apparently) early in the morning wt. 9 Piglings, 5 of which are Dead, 2 of the Ewes have also lambs, one wt.2 & 1 wt.1 Pig.

  • Note: If a line on one page appears to carry over on the same line on the next page, please check the next page and (if applicable) transcribe both pages together as if they are one page. Type your unified transcription under the first of the two pages.
