March, 1928
18 Sunday. Cold & windy. Walter, Ella & Vernon went to church & S.S this p.m. We had company for tea - Mr. & Mrs. Earl Miller, Mr. & Mrs. Wesley Miller and Mr. Arthur Witzel.
19 Monday. Cold & windy. Ella did the washing. This afternoon Walter went to Kavangli's sale and Ella visited Lincoln Weaver's. Vernon has a bad cold and feels tough.
20 Tuesday. Cold and windy Ella did her washing. Walter took a load of chopping to Floradale this a.m. Mrs. Noah Miller and Orpha spent the afternoon with Ella and Mr. Miller and Margaret came over for tea too.
21 Wednesday. Fine day. We butchered 2 pigs here today for Mr. {Tresk?} Callers were- Joe Shoemaker & Sam Spies. Williard Weaver came down after school and was here for supper.
