June, 1928
19 Tuesday. Warm day. Ella did the washing & transplanted some things in the garden. Edward & Miss Donaldson took a stroll to Floradale Vernon took a load of lumber from Mr. {Mogle's?} old barn up to Alma for Wesley Umbach.
20 Wednesday. Fair. Thunder-storms and heavy rains tonight. Vernon spent the day in bed with a sore throat. Walter was drawing manure. Walter & Ella went to the S.S. Conventions at West Montrose with Louis Miller's.
21 Thursday. Threatening. Walter, Edward & Miss Donaldson went to Elmira this morning. Mr. & Mrs. Ed. Bender spent the evening here.
22 Friday. very warm day. Walter was drawing manure. Walter's Dad was here for dinner. Our callers tonight were - Ges. Bolender, Alice & Landwell.
