TUESDAY 16
Done chores and fixing a waggon bat in forenoon. Morning snow round house and barn in afternoon. Fine mild day. Strong south wind.
WEDNESDAY 17
Done chores and drawing out manure. Colder with flurries of snow and blustry at times. Frozen quite hard.
THURSDAY 18
Done chores and drawing out manure. I wacked to town in afternoon and had tea at Hilborns. Beautiful warm calm day.
