May 1920

MONDAY 24

Done chores. Da working on mangal ground in corner next bush. Brock cultivating turnip ground in morning. Brock, mother, Lilian, and I down to skort in afternoon. Lillian went home. Brock and I to concert. Very dull damp day.

TUESDAY 25

Done chores. Da working on mangal ground all day. Brock cultivating and harrowing turnip ground. Then working up garden patch and riged it up. Put fence around after supper. Dull in forenoon but was a warm bright afternoon.

WEDNESDAY 26

Working on mangel and turnip ground in morning. Drew out manure for potatoes in afternoon and planting some. Brock to town at night, lue putting in garden. Fine and very warm.
