SUNDAY 11
Clara and Melville brought Mathew home to day. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson here for dinner and tea. Warm and cloudy. Raining most of night.
MONDAY 12
Choring in forenoon, scuffing and horing turnips in afternoon. Raining and misting in forenoon. Warm and bright in afternoon. Mr. Henderson called. Melville, Clara and I up to Roy and Harry in evening.
TUESDAY 13
Finished hoeing turnip and got 12 raw of mangelo haed. Clara and Melville went home this morning. Mother and I to town in afternoon. An mrs. Samis funeral and got Wiley shod. Warm and sullry. Rain going around.
