we all went for a walk & Mrs Spears here & S. & Ida went a piece with her. I did not go to church or S.S.
Mon. 15th/ 84. Lizzie went home on 1st train & I blacking stoves all day B.4. dinner & M.W. started to wash P.M. & Ida & I picked pears. Mrs. McCraney came up & Mrs. Wright. Then I helped them finish washing & it nearly dark. Ate our supper by lamplight. I wrote a letter to E.W. & to bed at 10. late getting up.
Tuesday 16th. Sun. M.L. went down to keep the P.O. all day for McCraney for they went to Exhibition It very windy & smokey. After got work done I ran to the P.O. B.4. Sarah & got letter for M.W. Sarah baking. E.M. went to Oakville. M.W. & Ida put out the clothes. I gathering tomatoes & then sat by Ma till dinner. I swept a little & comb hair & dictated to Sarah & E.M. sent me to tell Joe to finish work & drive him & Frank up to train. E.M. & Frank both going to fair. After work done S. Ida & I all went down to P.O. & church to practise for S.S. We had a good talk with Edith. I sat a while in Mr. Craneys store & then S. & I came home whistling & the other after awhile. I slept alone.
Wed. 17th Sep. Sarah & M.W. went to Toronto Joe them to station. I cleaned cellar out & picked cucumbers, pear & help Ida get dinner. Mr.
