S. 4th. Thrashed peas. Put the black Ram with the ewes Salter brought.

M. 6th. Very stormy fixing at the cellar etc.

T. 7th. Took Roberts wool to Port and sold it to Gordon 37^1/2 lb t 37^1/2 cts = $14.06 Roberts old A/C $1.68 which leaves a balance of $12.38 Bought 9^1/2 yds of Canadian Cloth at 90 cts = $8.55. 14 yds of shirting, at 30 cts = $4.20 this equals $12.75 which is 37 cts in excess of what the wool fetched. Bought for myself 2^3/4 of flannel at 55 cts. = $1.51 paid 60 cts in butter on the same which leaves a balance of 91 cts. Carried Roberts plow to be new wood at Kennedys. Loging this afternoon on the Gore. Received of Frits Weling One Dollar this is for cedar he had for his house in Port Elgin.

W. 8th. Paid J.J. Lehnen the Dollar I owed him for my watch. Pulling Turnips.

Th. Diging potatoes 22 Bushls put them in the cellar.

F. 10th. Diging potatoes 11 Bushls. . . . . also 10 Bushls raised from Idens seed. .

S. 11th. Thrashing peas. Robert & Father working at the Gore.

M 13th. Flour of lbs. 32 lbs. Diging potatoes. A book from the library.

T. 14th. Diging potatoes; the Kidneys 12 Bushls. Received of Mrs R Hay Coin in the sum of Two Dolrs for the cows to Bull Robert received also One Dolr for the pig Hayden had.

W. 15th. Finished diging potatoes, pulling turnips.

Th. 16th. Pulling turnips and hauling the same.

F. 17th. Pulling and Hauling turnips got up 120 Bushls. Borrowed Flour of Mr J D David 95 lbs.

S. 18th. Taking up and puling turnips 110 Bushls.

M. 20th. Do Do 90 Bushls.
