M. 19th. Commenced to haul firewood, broke the sleigh, to the sleigh to Kennedys to get it fixed.
T. 20th. Cleaned up pease and commenced to clean up wheat Received of Mr J Goble One Dolr. on Mr Delfs A/C. this he owes me on the Trade we made with our Horses.
W. 21st. Cleaned up the fall wheat. 12 Bushls.
Th. 22nd. Cleaning up spring wheat.
F. 23rd. Cleaning up spring wheat. etc. A pail of flour to Mrs David.
S. 24th. Finished cleaning up spring wheat. Put away 18 B. of wheat for seed, and 24 B. of wheat for family use. Bought of Mr J Goble an inch and half auger for 25 cts. Posted a letter to Uncle Fred. engaged four bushls of barley.
M. 26th. Grinding axes all day. C F S. flour. from us.
T. 27th. Fetched the sleigh from Kennedys $1.50 for repairing on A/C. sawing & splitting wood.
W. 28th. Took our wheat to market, sold it to Ruby & Hilker for 91 cts. per Bushl. Total amount of wheat 45 Bs. 47 lbs. at 91 cs. equals $41.42 cts. Settled with C F Schwendker to this date. My A/C against him $78.61. his A/C against me $83.941/4 paid him $2.891/2 and am still indebted to him $2.40. After paying C F S. for the wheat we had borrowed of him 20 Bs. 58 lbs which at 91 cs. per B. = $19.07 this deducted from $41.42 leaves $22.35 cts.
