and two back straps for $7.50 for which I have given him my Note payable 1 of Jan. 1867. Omitted in last Saturdays entry paid the Doctor $5.25 c. which settles my A/C with him.
W. 7th. Skiding logs in the Gore.
Th. 8th. Cleaned up barn floor thrashed beans, thrashing peas. Father & Vater cut the big hemlock into logs.
F. 9th. Hauled in two loads of turnips. In the afternoon skiding saw logs.
S. 10th. Helping C F S. to get out posts for his hog pen. went to mill left 25 lbs of flour at ? on Robs A/C to pay contribution to tea meeting.
M. 12th. Hauling home firewood. Made axe handle etc. Robert cutting rail timber. Took 96 lbs of flour to Mr J D Davids to pay the 95 lbs we borrowed of him sometime since.
T. 13th. Hauling and rail timber.
W. 14th. Thrashing & getting out rail timber.
Th. 15th. Getting out rail timber. Clemens on the hill a cow to bull.
F. 16th. Getting out rail timber.
S. 17th. Thrashing peas.
M. 19th. Getting out rail timber.
T. 20th. Getting out rail timber.
W. 21st. Cleaned up peas and took 14 Bushls to mill to be chopped, three Bushls. of peas used by the pigs which should have been entered before. Father All day helping Mr. J. Goble in Stuarts bush. Chopping firewood for J. George.
Th. 22nd. Chopping firewood for J. George.
F. 23rd. Do. Do.
S. 24th. Hauled wood to James George 4.5/8 Cords. at 80 c. p. c. George mended my boot 10 c. on a/c.
M. 26th. Making and hauling cedar logs to Port. for planks for Roberts cellar J. MacKintosh mended a sleigh shoe 50 c. on A/C. One Bushl. of clover seed of E. Gordon $7.50 on a/c.
T. 27th. Getting out cedar.
W. 28th. Getting out cedar.
