June.

F. 1st. Finished hauling out manure for the corn land. 9 loads today. Planted some corn yellow also pumpkins. Rob plowing.

S. 2nd. Plowing, planted more corn and pumpkin seed in the afternoon. Father went to mill with 17 bushls. of peas to chop for the cattle.

M. 4th. Hauling home cedar from the Goderich road. Frederic Stafford a cow to bull.

T. 5th. Hauling as yesterday. Salter a cow to bull.

W. 6th. Finished hauling cedar. Plowing broke my plow. Stuarts cow to bull the second time.

Th. 7th. Planted my Kidney potatoes, also beans and sowed flax.

F. 8th. Robert took Rawns truck home, we had it in use three days = 75 c. this pays for the cow to bull last year and we owe Rawn 25c. Robert since Wensday noon hauling to and from the saw mill finished planting corn yesterday and pumpkins this morning. planted carrot and beet seed also some potatoe onions, and between three and four hundred cabbage plants. Omitted last Wednesday a pair of shoes for Ed of J. George One Dolr. Mending two chains at J McKintoshs yesterday 10 c.

S. 9th. Splitting rails split 114. Robert Hauling lumber mending chain at J. MacIntoshes.

M. 11th. Hauling out manure 16 loads. Robert took the plow to Port Elgin and in the afternoon was splitting rails. Sunday night old Rosa took the bull.

T. 12th. Hauling out manure 17 loads. Robert plowing.

W. 13th. Hauling out manure 16 loads. Robert plowing. Signed my name to become a homeguardsman in P.E.

Th. 14th. Morn. hauled out 10 loads of manure. afternoon draging Rob plowing. forenoon fetched plow from Rob MacLachlin in the afternoon. Mac fixed a land side cost $2.50.
