F. 15th. Hauling out manure and finished hauling 18 loads. Rob plowing.
S. 16th. Father and myself at C F S. loging. Robert plowing.
M. 18th. Made a gate for my place. Rob planting out Trees.
T. 19th. Laying out the Gore lines, made a piece of fence round the barn etc.
W. 20th. Commenced Shearing the sheep. Mr. Hugoe a cow to bull. Father & Robert levelling in the gore.
Th. 21st. Finished shearing sheep in the middle of the afternoon altogether 16. Made a gate for the Barnyard. Father to mill with fall wheat 13 Bushls.
F. 22nd. Father to mill again took bags of Oats to chop, fetched the wheat grist home, a pail of lime of J. Goble. Omitted yesterday the sow had thirteen pigs. I was splitting rails 161 at the Gore.
S. 23rd. Splitting rails again. 186. Father and Rob leveling. Paid Duncan Anderson $4.50 cts. which is payment in full for thrashing this last winter, also a balance that was left from the winter before. Mr J. Goble Drilled our Turnips.
M. 25th. Mr J Goble altered the lambs and weighed the wool (Delfs and Roberts) 62 lbs which divided haves Robert 31 lbs. Bought Mr Delfs share for thirty cents per lb and allow my a third for washing leaves 201/2 lbs equal to $6.15. this has to be paid in september. Father Rob. and self hoeing corn. Hugo a cow to bull.
T. 26th. Hoeing corn.
W. 27th. Hoeing corn,beans, potatoes onions etc.

S. 30th. splitting rails Father 1/2 day branding.
