61/2 3 little axe stones 1 lb of paper One pair of drawers for Father $1.40. Cloth $1.00 Pepper 25 c. axe stones 9 c. on A/C also one Barrel of salt $2.25 c. Paid Mrs Stuart 3 lbs 7 oz. of meal which we borrowed of her some time since. Paid Mrs. Salter seven lbs of meal which we borrowed of her some time since. Making sausages, grinding Axes etc.

M. 17th. George Roppel 3 B. 52 lbs at 50 c per Bushl. This settles the A/C he had against me. Robert and myself chopping firewood in the Gore. 31/2 lbs of Tallow of Mrs. Goble not paid. Salter Paid the salt he owed.

T. 18th. Chopping firewood.

W. 19th. Chopping in the afternoon. I was splitting wood at Clemens Road.? for Mr. J. David he being sick.

Th. 20th. Chopping wood. Mr. Goble made a turnip cutter.

F. 21st. Preparing to haul out wood. Fred chopping. Took the sow to Belzner's Boar. Paid Robert MacLachlin fifty cents for the knife I had of him a few days back. Sent a folr. for the Canada Farmer.

S. 22nd. Hauled 31/4 Cords of Wood to James George's. Fred & Robert chopping. Bought of Gordon tobacco 1 lbs. 2 lbs. of raisins, one lb of currants. Two sticks of liquorice six pipes.

M. 24th. Commenced aking a root house. Fred helping me, Received fifty cents from Robert Craig by my Brother Robert.

T. 25th.

W. 26th Hauled some wood to the Doctors.

Th. 27th. Hauled some wood to the Doctors.

F. 28th. Cutting wood and chores very stormy

S. 29th. Do. Do. Mr. Goble made a pump to draw the water out of the cellar. on A/C

M. 31st. Emptying the cellar and picking potatoes. Rob and Fred helping.
